Design Sponge is all about interior decorating and craft ideas. I've gotten inspiration for some of my designs at this site. They have a pretty cool DIY section and have recently branched out into recipes.

Erin Dollar makes beards and beard related items. She uses her blog to show people what she is making. I have a beard and I think this site is delightful.
8 - Get Rich Slowly
Get Rich Slowly is a blog devoted to intelligent personal finance. The guy who writes this blog was in debt for a while and has learned through experience.
7 - Design is Kinky
Design is Kinky was one of the first sites to share good design, cool art, and interesting photos everyday. They've been doing it since 1998.
6 - Yvan Eht Nioj
This is the blog of Brian Burgess, a friend of mine in Iraq. His website title is Join the Navy backwards, a reference to an episode of The Simpsons where Bart's boy band was sending out subliminal messages to get people to join the Navy.
5 - A List Apart
ALA is an online magazine that explores the design, development, and meaning of web content, with a special focus on web standards and best practices.
4 - The Toilet Paper Entrepreneur
I read this blog partially because I like the name. Mostly I read it because it is a pretty good read for someone starting a business. I'm currently in the process of starting a new business, so that would make sense.
3 - Freakonomics
I got the Freakonomics book for Christmas last year and loved it, so I was really excited when I found out they had a blog. They make connections between seemingly unrelated things. For instance, they relate the legalization of abortions with the downturn in violent crime in the 90's.
2 - Curious Tribe
- Curious Tribe was started by a friend of mine from college, Justin Shiels. This blog has a staff of six writers and social commentators that are in their 20s.
1 - Business Pundit
A pretty good business blog that gives advice and commentary on what is going on in the business world. They touch on a broad range of subjects, so it doesn't get stale.
